CompWatch® System Requirements

  • Microsoft Windows® based IBM compatible PC

  • CPU - 200 Mhz minimum (500 Mhz recommended)

  • CD-ROM drive - 16x CD-ROM drive minimum

  • Operating System - Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows XP, SP1 or later or Windows NT v4.0, SP5 or later. Windows Vista and 7 are supported in a standalone, local installation environment only. At this time CompWatch cannot be installed on the server (neither program nor data files) and run from a Windows 7 Computer. A computer with Windows 7 cannot be added to a previously existing networked installation of CompWatch.

  • Networks - Multi-user licenses are available for Windows® based Local Area Networks (e.g. Windows 2000; Windows XP, SP1 or later; or Windows NT v4.0, SP5 or later). CompWatch cannot run under a terminal server (i.e., Citrix ).

  • A minimum of 200 megabytes of free disk space is required for the installation of program files as well as free space for the claims data. The size of the data files depends on the number of claims that are entered into the system.

Each Workstation Running CompWatch® Must:

  • Have a minimum of 256 megabytes of RAM

  • Have a VGA or higher quality monitor

  • Have a mouse

  • Be able to route print output to any printer supported by your Windows operating system

  • Have Acrobat® Reader version 5.0 or higher installed

  • Have no other installation of a Pervasive® database engine

  • Have an Internet connection and e-mail account to send/receive claims data by e-mail
